MAY

“The word “may” has roots in the ancient imagery of Maia.  In Greek mythology Maia is also a goddess, the daughter of Atlas and mother of Hermes, her name literally meaning “mother, good mother, nurse, midwife”. She also was considered the goddess of growth, nature, and growing plants, after whom the month of May was named.  She was identified in the Roman era as Bona Dea, the goddess of fertility, whose festival was held in May.  She embodies feminine energy and the potential for creation.  When used as a verb, the word “may” is filled with feminine energy and seed-like potential.  It is rooted in the Old English word “mæg”, of Germanic origin, meaning “to have power.” The spiritual meaning of May is often associated with renewal, growth, and blossoming, aligning with the natural springtime energy of the month.  It's a time for new beginnings, shedding old beliefs, and celebrating the fruition of what has been nurtured.  May is also linked to themes of joy, love, and the return of happiness.  The month is a reminder that what has been nurtured is ready to flourish, both in nature and in personal development.  May is often seen as a month of grace and favor.  Spiritually, it's a time to seek divine favor for the rest of the year.”

The above is copied from a newsletter I receive from a spiritual newsletter by Teresa Wasowcz. I thought she was concise, informative and interesting.

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you will see I was in Thunder Bay visiting my eldest son and two granddaughters. I loved being back, it has been about 3 years since I last was there.

There is something about the Sleeping Giant that is mesmerizing and comforting to me. Also, Thunder Bay sits on veins of amethyst which is healing in itself.

I don’t know about you, but I am always so happy to get back home and into routine once again. This morning, I had my celery juice, lemon water, a smoothie and snuggled in to journal. Do you feel the same about traveling? It is great to go away and even better to return home.

😊 Now that I returned to no snow, I think it is time to dismantle the Christmas decorations in the front. LOL

I even traveled with only a carry on and I did a YouTube video showing what and how I packed.
Here is the link. https://youtu.be/QezGBANf3gU?si=I0zLhrxK8i9RPreN

I will be doing moon gatherings in the membership group only now. That way they will be up for members to play back if they aren’t able to join on a scheduled evening. Also, join me in the group for some style information, style challenges, chakra meditations and more! You don’t have to be over 50 to join and benefit from it.

Sending you Grace and Love,

Ka👠en
